Poll Shows Technical Tie Between Ferraço and Pazolini in ES

Last week, two polls released on Friday (25) revealed that the race for the Espírito Santo governorship is extremely balanced, generating great interest among Capixaba voters.

Quaest Poll Results

The Quaest poll, commissioned by Rede Gazeta and registered with the TSE under number ES-01978/2026, interviewed 804 voters between September 21 and 24. The survey indicated 33% of voting intentions for the current governor Ricardo Ferraço (MDB) and 31% for Lorenzo Pazolini (Republicanos), former mayor of Vitória, constituting a technical tie. Helder Salomão (PT) placed third with 12%.

Comparison with Real Time Big Data Poll

The Real Time Big Data poll, with 1,600 respondents in the same period, presented different results: Ferraço leads with 44% of intentions, while Pazolini registers 35%. The third-place candidate, Helder Salomão, has 14%.

Candidates and Their Rejection Rates

The Real Time Big Data survey measured the rejection rates of the main candidates. Helder Salomão leads the rejection list, with 46% of respondents stating they would not vote for him. Both Ferraço and Pazolini have 36% rejection, while Breno Barcelos (Missão) registers 20% and Rafael Demuner (UP) 16%.

Second Round Scenario

In a simulation of a potential second round, Ferraço's lead remains: 48% of voting intentions against 40% for Pazolini. Blank and null votes total 7%, and 5% of respondents did not know or refused to answer.

Senate Outlook

In addition to the gubernatorial race, the same poll showed that former governor Renato Casagrande (PSB) leads the Senate race with 29% of intentions, followed by Sergio Meneguelli (PSD) with 13% and Fabiano Contarato (PT) with 11%.
