Explosão Solar is a news portal dedicated to explanatory journalism: the kind that places context above speed and treats readers as people who want to understand, not just know. We cover Brazil, the World, Politics, Economics, Technology, Science, Sports, and Culture — going beyond the facts to explain what they mean and what is likely to come next.

Our editorial stance rests on three pillars: absolute independence, rigorous verification through primary sources, and in-depth explanation. We prefer to publish correctly rather than publish first. No advertiser has prior access to our editorial agenda, nor any power of veto over the newsroom's publishing decisions.

Every story begins with an editorial brief, goes through verification using primary sources — official documents, public data, studies, and named experts — and undergoes dual review before publication: fact-checking and copy editing. Any updates made after publication are always flagged with a visible date and explanation for the reader.

Write to contato@explosaosolar.com with the article link, a description of the error, and, if possible, the source supporting the correction. We review every request. If the error is confirmed, we correct the text immediately and add a transparency note indicating what was changed and when. Serious errors are also highlighted at the top of the article.

Yes. The portal is funded through programmatic advertising and, occasionally, sponsored content — always labeled with the tags Advertising or Sponsored Content, without exception. Advertisers have no prior access to our editorial agenda and no power of veto over editorial decisions. The separation between journalism and advertising is absolute.

We process personal data in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law No. 13,709/2018), based on the principle of data minimization: we collect only what is necessary to operate the portal, measure audience, display advertising, and respond to messages. Through it we receive story suggestions, correction requests, press inquiries, commercial proposals, and personal data-related requests. We respond within 5 business days; requests related to the LGPD follow the statutory deadlines.
