Terms of Use

Effective date: August 1, 2026.

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Explosão Solar news portal, available at explosaosolar.com, including all its pages, content, and features, such as the newsletter and contact forms. Please read carefully before browsing.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the portal, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use, as well as the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated herein. If you do not agree with any provision, you must discontinue use of the portal. Continued use following any updates to these Terms constitutes agreement with the current version.

2. Scope and Access to the Service

Explosão Solar provides journalistic content of an informational nature, with a focus on explanatory journalism. Access to the portal is free of charge and does not require registration, except for specific features such as newsletter subscription. We make reasonable efforts to keep the portal continuously available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability; access may be suspended for maintenance, technical failures, or force majeure events, without giving rise to any right to compensation.

3. Permitted Use of Content

You may freely read, access, and share links to articles, including on social media and messaging apps. Short quotations from content are permitted for informational, critical, educational, or research purposes, provided they are always accompanied by express credit to Explosão Solar and a link to the original article. Without prior written authorization, it is not permitted to:

Reproduce, in full or substantially, any texts, images, graphics, or other material from the portal;
Use the content for commercial purposes, including resale, paid aggregation, or inclusion in third-party products and services;
Use the content to train, feed, or improve automated systems, language models, or databases, by any means, including data scraping;
Remove, conceal, or alter credits, copyright notices, or the portal's identification;
Modify the content in a way that distorts its original meaning.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the portal — texts, reports, analyses, headlines, trademarks, logos, layout, graphic design, illustrations, original photographs, and databases — is protected by Brazilian copyright law (Law No. 9,610/1998) and industrial property law (Law No. 9,279/1996), and belongs to Explosão Solar or to third parties who have licensed its use. Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as an assignment or license of intellectual property rights to the user, beyond the permitted use expressly described in the preceding section. Third-party content that may be embedded (such as videos or posts embedded from external platforms) belongs to their respective rights holders.

5. User Responsibilities

When using the portal and its contact channels, you agree to provide truthful information, refrain from unlawful conduct, not attempt to circumvent security mechanisms, not deliberately overload the site's infrastructure, and not use the contact channels to send offensive, defamatory, discriminatory content or content that infringes third-party rights. Violation may result in access being blocked, without prejudice to any applicable legal measures.

6. Limitation of Liability

The content of Explosão Solar is informational and journalistic in nature and is produced with rigorous verification, but it does not constitute professional advice of any kind — legal, financial, medical, investment-related, or otherwise. Decisions made on the basis of published information are the exclusive responsibility of the user, who should seek appropriate professional guidance when necessary. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Explosão Solar is not liable for: (a) damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the portal; (b) failures, viruses, or unavailability caused by third parties, the user's internet service provider, or the user's own equipment; (c) content, products, and services on third-party websites accessed through links on the portal. Nothing in these Terms excludes liabilities that cannot be excluded under Brazilian law, in particular the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor), where applicable.

7. Third-Party Links

The portal may contain links to external websites, included for journalistic relevance or as source references. These websites are not controlled by Explosão Solar, and the inclusion of a link does not constitute endorsement of the destination site's content, products, or privacy practices. We recommend reading the terms and policies of each site you visit.

8. Advertising

The portal displays advertising, including programmatic ads and, occasionally, sponsored content, always identified as such, in respect of our readers and in compliance with applicable law. Advertising is the responsibility of the respective advertisers; Explosão Solar does not guarantee, endorse, or assume responsibility for any offers, products, or services advertised. Any consumer relationship that may be established occurs directly between the user and the advertiser.

9. Changes to These Terms

Explosão Solar may amend these Terms at any time to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. The updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date, and significant changes will be highlighted on the portal. We recommend reviewing this document periodically.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. For consumer relations, the courts of the user's domicile shall have jurisdiction, in accordance with the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code; for all other matters, the courts of the City of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, Brazil shall have exclusive jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other, however privileged.
