Superbet's recent national Responsible Gambling campaign has highlighted a growing number of young people already experimenting with online betting, according to a survey by the Mixed Parliamentary Front for Education. In response, the company launched Linha Super, a free 24-hour channel available to anyone facing gambling-related problems.

What is Linha Super and how it works

It is a support service created in partnership with the Player Protection Institute (IPJ). The structure was financed by Superbet, but the evaluation, service, and referrals are under the technical responsibility of IPJ, which ensures confidentiality and independence.

Who can access the channel

In addition to Superbet clients, Linha Super serves users of other platforms, family members, and close contacts seeking guidance. Service capacity has been expanded to 3,500 users, with no commercial restrictions.

Prevention tools and limits

According to CEO Alexandre Fonseca, sustainable operations should not seek to maximize gambler activity at any cost. Therefore, the company applies alerts, restrictions, and temporary blocks when it identifies risky behaviors, such as using family money, spending above planned limits, excessive time spent gambling, or using credit cards to continue playing.

Algorithm cleanup

One of the planned actions, called “Algorithm Cleanup,” redirects users who show recurring interest in betting to responsible gambling content. The goal is to identify behavioral patterns associated with higher risk and offer preventive interventions.

Context of young Brazilians

A survey by the Mixed Parliamentary Front for Education, conducted between August and September, interviewed 1,912 students from 191 schools and revealed that 20.4% of students in the final years of elementary and high school have already placed online bets on illegal websites. Among 17-year-olds, the rate reaches 32.3%, and among male students in the 3rd year of high school, it is 49.7%.

Long-term commitment

The campaign is scheduled to run until December, but the partnership with IPJ has been underway since 2024, and the service will not end with the conclusion of the campaign. Superbet emphasizes that when someone decides to seek guidance, there should be no commercial barrier, reinforcing the company's role as a promoter of a conscious and healthy betting environment.
