The Futura/100% Cidades survey, referring to the 2026 elections, highlights the former minister as a leading contender for one of the two seats up for grabs in the state.
Lead in the Senate race in São Paulo
The Futura/100% Cidades poll, published this Tuesday (8), shows Marina Silva (Rede) and Simone Tebet (PSB) leading the contest for the Senate from São Paulo. Marina Silva was mentioned by 34.9% of respondents, while Simone Tebet garnered 32.7% of voting intentions. The results indicate a technical tie between the two candidates, considering the survey’s margin of error.
In this election, each state and the Federal District will elect two senators. The percentages presented correspond to the consolidated votes for each option, as voters were asked about their choices for the first and second votes.
Other names in the survey
Besides the two front‑runners, the poll also tested other names in the Senate race in São Paulo. Guilherme Derrite (PP) scores 26.1%, followed by André do Prado (PL) with 14.6%, and Ricardo Salles (Novo) registering 9.5% of voting intentions.

Methodology of the electoral study
The Futura/100% Cidades survey interviewed 1,600 voters in the state of São Paulo, using telephone interviews. Data collection took place between September 2 and 4, 2026. The poll has a 95% confidence level and a margin of error of ±2.4 percentage points.
Registration and financing of the poll
The study was registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under numbers BR-06720/2026 and SP-00152/2026. 100% Cidades contracted the survey, which was funded by Futura Consultoria e Assessoria.
