The new hybrid SUV Tank 400 caught the attention of the Brazilian public and ranks among the most searched topics after being officially presented at the Interlagos Festival. The model arrives with the aim of challenging established competitors in the national market and features an electrified powertrain.
Presentation at the Interlagos Festival
The Interlagos Cars Festival was the chosen stage to showcase the Tank 400 to the public. The event takes place from August 27 to 30 in São Paulo (SP), marking the appearance of the utility vehicle whose official launch is scheduled for 2026.
Dimensions and design of the new SUV
The Tank 400 adopts smoother lines and includes visual elements that recall rivals in the segment, such as the side profile that rises at the rear doors. In terms of size, the model measures 4.98 meters in length, 1.95 meters in width, 1.9 meters in height, and has a 2.85‑meter wheelbase. At the rear, the trunk lid opens sideways and carries the spare tire mounted on the outer side.
Hybrid powertrain and performance
The model uses a powertrain that combines an internal‑combustion engine with an electric motor. The system delivers high combined power and elevated torque, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds.
Technology and interior finish
Inside, the vehicle features soft‑touch materials, a discreet colour palette, and a 16.3‑inch multimedia screen, accompanied by a 12.3‑inch digital instrument cluster. The SUV also offers two inductive phone chargers and a gear selector positioned exclusively on the steering column.
