Representative Nikolas Ferreira Seeks Support from Vorcaro and Challenges Moraes
Audio recordings reveal a request to free a mining asset and demands to the Supreme Court minister

Federal deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) came into focus after sending audio messages to Daniel Vorcaro, former owner of Banco Master, requesting support for the release of a mining asset. The following day, the lawmaker pressed Minister Alexandre de Moraes for explanations about an alleged contact between the banker and the magistrate.
Request to release a mining asset to Daniel Vorcaro
In recordings released by ICL Notícias, Nikolas starts the conversation saying, "Hey Dani, how are you?" and reports that his lawyer informed him about a mining asset that "has already passed the technical sheet." The deputy asks Vorcaro to intervene so the asset can be released, stating that he fully trusts the banker.
Vorcaro's reaction to Nikolas' contacts
Vorcaro replies minutes later with a one‑time view audio, saying "Amen, brother" and, in another message, "We are in the war together." The banker indicates he will be in Brasília all week and asks the deputy to forward the contact of Thiago Rodrigues de Faria, Nikolas' lawyer. In return, the lawmaker thanks him and mentions he "will give a quick shower" before "going back to the war tomorrow."
Accusation of access to Minister Alexandre de Moraes
A day before the conversations with Vorcaro became public, Nikolas posted a nearly 12‑minute video questioning the Supreme Court minister. The deputy demands explanations about "the meetings," "the messages," "the contract" and "the screenshots" that, according to him, would indicate "access to Vorcaro." He also asks Moraes to "step down as minister and let Brazil investigate" while the case remains unresolved.
Requests for clarification to the STF
In the same video, Nikolas repeats his request for the magistrate to explain why a "cornered banker" would have "access to you to intervene with the Federal Police and the Attorney General's Office" and why, "on the eve of being arrested," Vorcaro allegedly asked the minister if he should leave the country.
Developments in the investigations
The messages between Nikolas and Vorcaro, initially revealed by ICL Notícias, show the deputy calling the banker "handsome" and asking for "more closeness." In later dialogues, Vorcaro tells Flávio Carneiro that "I covered all his flights, this Nikolas." So far, neither Nikolas' staff nor Vorcaro's defense have commented on the disclosed facts.
