On August 21, 2026, Ana Lucía Pineda's role stood out in coordinating humanitarian aid after the earthquake. The manager began coordinating donations and social initiatives tied to her public position.

Las Tigresas de la Patria and the beginning of activities

Since the period leading up to her arrival at the Casa de Nariño, Ana Lucía Pineda built her own space for participation with Las Tigresas de la Patria. The group of women accompanied Abelardo De la Espriella's presidential campaign and participated in political and social gatherings.

In June, the movement promoted a collection of aid for people affected by earthquakes registered in Venezuela. With the transition to the role of First Lady, this structure became part of social assistance activities.

The Colombia One Single Heart campaign

Following the 7.4 magnitude earthquake on August 10, Pineda announced on August 11 the Colombia One Single Heart campaign. The initiative focused on raising food, water, medicine, and hygiene supplies for affected communities.

The campaign coordinated private companies, social organizations, public entities, and citizen groups. The Public Media System integrated the action in collecting supplies, while humanitarian caravans sent hundreds of tons of aid to Chocó and Risaralda.

The Colombia Light and Smiles Foundation

Amidst emergency actions, the Fundación Colombia Luz y Sonrisas stands out, formally established on July 7, 2026. The creation meeting took place on March 20, with an initial capital of 10 million pesos and as a non-profit organization.

Ana Lucía Pineda is listed as the legal representative of the entity. The organization has a website under construction and few recent publications on social media.

Official channels for financial donations

The newly established foundation joined the list of authorized channels to receive financial contributions from the humanitarian aid campaign. The other two authorized organizations are the Corporación Organización El Minuto de Dios and the Asociación de Bancos de Alimentos de Colombia.

This inclusion raised questions about transparency mechanisms and the differentiation between private and public activities. Social management has established itself as one of the most visible axes of the First Lady's activity.
