According to preliminary information, the motorcycle lost control before hitting the pole, causing the woman riding as a passenger to die at the scene. The driver, who received first aid from the Mobile Emergency Medical Service (Samu), was taken to the State General Hospital (HGE) in Trapiche da Barra.

Rescue, traffic, and forensic teams were immediately called to the scene. The Municipal Department of Transport and Traffic (DMTT) cordoned off the area and directed vehicle traffic while the Institute of Criminalistics' forensic team gathered information from the road and the vehicle.
