How to check your refund
The consultation can be done on the Federal Revenue website, under the "Meu Imposto de Renda" tab, or through the official app for mobile phones and tablets. Taxpayers can also check the information in the Virtual Customer Service Center, e-CAC, using a silver or gold level gov.br account.
Who receives in this batch
The batch includes 521,935 refunds, totaling R$ 1,238,013,251.34, in addition to residual refunds from previous years. Among the beneficiaries are elderly individuals over 80, elderly individuals between 60 and 79, people with physical or mental disabilities or severe illnesses, and taxpayers whose primary source of income is teaching. The group also includes those who used the pre-filled declaration or opted to receive via Pix.
What to do in case of an error in bank details
Refund payments are made exclusively to a bank account held by the taxpayer. How to check for pending issues and the "malha fina"
During the consultation on the e-CAC portal, taxpayers can check if they fell into the "malha fina" due to data discrepancies. If any information error is identified, the citizen must submit an amended return to correct the data and resolve the issue with the tax authority.
