Raphinha Takes Brazil's No. 10 Shirt, Endrick Wears No. 9

The CBF has released the squad numbers for the Super FIFA Date friendlies against Australia and India, marking the arrival of Raphinha as the new No. 10 and Endrick as the No. 9.

Raphinha Takes the No. 10 Shirt

Forward Raphinha, who played as a center-forward for Barcelona, receives the No. 10, one of the most traditional numbers in the National Team, previously worn by Neymar in World Cups. The choice was announced by the CBF this Thursday (24).

Endrick Changes Numbers

Endrick, who wore No. 19 at the World Cup, will now wear No. 9 for the national team. The change comes with the absence of Matheus Cunha, who had been the No. 9 at the World Cup.

Other Number Changes

Douglas Santos, who had No. 16, now wears No. 6. Estêvão, who previously wore No. 20, receives No. 11. Vini Jr. remains with No. 7 and Bruno Guimarães with No. 8. In defense, Gabriel Magalhães gets No. 3 and Marquinhos No. 4.

Friendly Schedule

The National Team will face Australia this Friday (25) at 7 AM (Brasília time) at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, in Townsville. The second match will be against Australia in Brisbane, on the 29th, at Suncorp Stadium. The final commitment, against India, will take place on October 3rd at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan stadium, in Kolkata.

Objective of the Super FIFA Date Matches

Carlo Ancelotti stated that these friendlies will serve to observe a new generation of players with a view to the 2028 Copa América and the 2030 World Cup.
