On Wednesday, the 7th, a security camera recorded a man removing a trash can from a residence on Décio Piola Street, in Parque Moema, Franca. The suspect approached the property, carried the receptacle, and left via the street.

Upon noticing its disappearance, the resident reviewed the recordings and observed that the individual appeared to be looking for other trash cans on the street. As of now, there is no confirmation of further thefts, but the incident has put neighbors on alert, prompting them to check their own recordings.

Break-in and Coin Theft at Jaru Supermarket

In the early hours of Thursday, the 8th, the Jaru Military Police were called after a supermarket manager reported the presence of an intruder on the premises. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found signs of forced entry at the front of the establishment.

During the search, the suspect, identified by the initials F.S.F., was found hidden in a bathroom, carrying two backpacks with approximately R$3,000 in coins. The supermarket's interior showed damage, broken beverages, and a box of 12 beers that, according to the report, had been consumed during the act.

F.S.F. was arrested, formally charged, and taken to the Jaru Civil Police Station, where the case remains under investigation. He reportedly stated that he had consumed alcohol and narcotics and intended to use the money to pay off a debt to drug traffickers.
