Bitcoin ETF Investments Boost Market and "Fidelity Crypto"
US Bitcoin exchange‑traded funds see massive inflows, with Fidelity standing out among issuers.
Significant investments in Bitcoin exchange‑traded funds (ETFs) in the United States are moving the cryptocurrency market and sparking interest in “Fidelity Crypto.” Last Monday, these ETFs recorded a large net inflow, with Fidelity being one of the standout funds attracting capital.
Almost a Billion‑Dollar Flow into Bitcoin ETFs
US‑listed Bitcoin ETFs attracted a net inflow of $998.95 million on Monday, the biggest daily flow since October 6 2025, when Bitcoin hit its record of roughly $126,200. Monday’s inflow also ranks as the ninth largest since ETFs began trading on January 11 2024.
Fidelity and the Market’s Big Players
Among the ETFs leading Monday’s inflows, BlackRock’s IBIT stood out with $381.37 million, followed by Ark’s ARKB with $289.12 million. Fidelity’s FBTC also posted a notable share, with $238.84 million in inflows. These numbers show capital concentrating in a few of the sector’s top funds.
Institutional Interest and the Macro Landscape
The inflow, which marked a three‑day winning streak after two weeks of gains, is seen as a confidence signal from institutions. It comes just days after Bitcoin absorbed news of a failed Senate cloture vote on the Clarity Act and a Fed interest‑rate hike. The inflows bring the month’s total to $1.31 billion, following a $3.52 billion flow in August, suggesting strong institutional interest in the cryptocurrency despite global macro‑economic tensions and fiscal‑debt concerns in advanced economies.
Bitcoin’s Quarterly Appreciation
Bitcoin’s price has performed robustly this quarter, appreciating 44% to $85,000. This rise outpaces any other major asset, including gold. The cryptocurrency is on the rise, and US‑listed Bitcoin ETFs are attracting money at a pace reminiscent of the period when the crypto was trading at historic highs.
Annual Performance and Challenges
Despite the recent hefty inflows, spot Bitcoin ETFs still show a year‑to‑date decline of $450 million. While market bulls have shown strength, work remains to fully reverse the negative performance since the start of the year. Bitcoin is trading at $85,283.30.
