Driver captured in Medellín after trying to bribe traffic officer

"Our agents work daily to protect your life and integrity, preserve order and the roads, and guarantee mobility. The duty as citizens is to respect and obey traffic rules and responsibly assume our behavior on the road," he said.

With this case, the number of people captured in 2026 for assaults on traffic officers in the city rises to 12, according to the Mobility Secretariat.
