Ciro Nogueira luxury trips paid by Vorcaro

The Federal Police (PF) released, in documents declassified last Friday (the 11th), that former banker Daniel Vorcaro covered more than R$ 500,000 in luxury trips for Senator Ciro Nogueira (PP‑PI) between 2024 and 2025. The expenses include high‑end hotel stays, meals at starred restaurants, private events and flights on private jets.

International trips and high‑end accommodations

In May 2024, Vorcaro booked suites at the Park Hyatt New York for Ciro Nogueira and former minister Fábio Faria from May 11 to 15, totaling US$ 47.7 k (about R$ 245.1 k). The daily rate for the “royal” suite was US$ 4.7 k (R$ 24.5 k).
The same month, Vorcaro paid for Nogueira’s stay in junior suites at the Four Seasons Lisbon in June, at € 3.1 k per night, amounting to R$ 91.2 k.
In January 2025, the senator and his companion were lodged at the Courchevel ski resort in the French Alps, at K2 and Chalet Grand Charlot hotels, with expenses of R$ 63.6 k at La Soucoupe and R$ 58.5 k at Le Tremplin, totalling roughly R$ 1.85 million in identified costs.

Private events and high‑end entertainment

A dinner at the Gigi restaurant in Paris in April 2024 cost about US$ 2 k (R$ 10.2 k) for four people, including Nogueira.
In New York, Vorcaro funded a private whiskey‑and‑cigar event at The Carnegie Club, amounting to US$ 1.02 million (R$ 5.25 million), which included beverage purchases worth US$ 674.7 k (R$ 3.4 billion).
Other luxury‑restaurant events, such as La Soucoupe and Le Tremplin in Courchevel, were included in the total spending.

Transportation by private aircraft

Images captured on May 16 and 18, 2024 show Vorcaro and Ciro Nogueira aboard a private jet, reinforcing evidence that the banker covered the senator’s travel on private aircraft.
The PF report indicates that Nogueira benefited on at least three occasions from international flights operated on Vorcaro’s private planes.

Senator’s and defense’s reaction

In June, the senator’s legal team said it would not comment publicly and would present technical clarifications to “refute the unfounded police insinuations in the case files”.
In earlier public statements, the senator denied any irregularities in his relationship with Vorcaro.

Context of the Master case and Signature Luxury Services

The former Master bank, owned by Vorcaro, is at the centre of PF investigations into banking fraud. Signature Luxury Services LLC, a high‑end tourism company, recorded more than US$ 55 million (R$ 280 million) in Vorcaro spending over a year, from November 2024 to December 2025.
Among these services were chartered yachts, private aircraft and upscale villas, as well as the organization of private events.
The stated purpose of the contract was “to arrange everything so that the client and his guests could peacefully attend the ‘Person of the Year’ event”, according to a Signature Luxury statement.

Conclusion

The PF concluded there is no doubt that Senator Ciro Nogueira acted for personal benefit, receiving undue advantages in luxury trips and events.
The exact amount paid by Vorcaro to the senator is still being calculated, but it exceeds R$ 500 k on a conservative estimate.
