Camex extends 12% tax on oil exports for 60 days

Despite an existing injunction, the Foreign Trade Chamber (Camex) has decided to extend the 12% tax on exports of crude oil and bituminous minerals.

The extension of the levy will last for an additional 60 days, starting on September 8, when the previous decision maintaining the rate expires.

With the extension, exporters remain subject to the same tax rate, maintaining the previously established conditions.
