GDACS, the global disaster alert and coordination system run by the UN and the European Commission, issued a orange (moderate to high) alert for event "Europe-2026" (drought) affecting Albania, Austria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Belarus, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Spain, France, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Montenegro, The Republic of North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, San Marino, Ukraine, ,.
