Samsung Launches Galaxy S26 FE with 3nm Chipset

Samsung announced this Thursday (27) the Galaxy S26 FE, expanding the S26 family with a more accessible model, yet equipped with the first 3-nanometer processor in the Fan Edition line. The announcement generated significant interest among consumers seeking high performance at a price closer to the Brazilian market.

Price and availability in Brazil

The device starts at US$ 699.99 in the United States, which is equivalent to approximately R$ 3,611 in direct conversion. Samsung has not yet disclosed the exact arrival date in Brazil but stated that the launch will occur through selected carriers starting September 3, with online sales beginning the following day.

Exynos 2500 Chipset and Performance

The technical highlight of the Galaxy S26 FE is the Exynos 2500 chipset, manufactured with 3nm lithography, the first in the Fan Edition family. The processor reaches speeds of up to 3.3 GHz and, according to the AnTuTu ranking, is among the ten most powerful Android devices. Although specific tests are not yet available, its performance can be compared to that of the Galaxy Z Flip 7, which scored 2,420,087 points in the same benchmark.

Screen, Battery, and Cameras

The device retains the 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits, ensuring fluidity and good visibility in bright environments. The battery remains at 4,900 mAh, supporting 45 W fast charging. For photography, the S26 FE offers a 50 MP main camera with optical stabilization, a 12 MP ultrawide (123° field of view), and a 3x telephoto with OIS.

New Software Features

Among the new software features, 'Horizon Lock' automatically levels the video when the subject moves, and 'My Fancam' is an automatic tracking tool to keep the person in frame. 'Audio Eraser,' another feature, reduces unwanted noise after recording, such as background conversations or wind.

Design and Color Options

The design of the Galaxy S26 FE visually aligns with the main lineup, adopting the single vertical camera module and an aluminum frame with Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection on the screen and back. Available colors are pistachio, purple, and graphite, expanding choices for those seeking a more distinctive look.

Memory and Storage

The model comes with 8 GB of RAM and options for 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage, maintaining the memory configuration of the previous generation.
