Rio to Create 5,000 Penitentiary System Vacancies in Three Years

An agreement signed between the Justice and Public Security departments of Rio de Janeiro establishes the creation of 5,180 vacancies within the state's penitentiary system over three years.

The measure aims to expand operational capacity within prison units, addressing structural and operational demands of the system. The initiative includes positions that may encompass administrative, security, and institutional support roles.
