Federal Lottery 6099-2 Contest Results

Caixa Econômica Federal held the Federal Lottery 6099-2 draw this Wednesday (9) at Espaço da Sorte, in São Paulo. The results are now available on the official Caixa Lotteries website, including the list of winning tickets and their cities of origin.

Five tickets were drawn, defining the main prizes, from 1st to 5th place. In addition, the Federal Lottery pays derivative prizes for those who match the thousands, hundreds, tens, tickets immediately before or after the 1st prize, nearby final tens, and the final unit matching the 1st prize.

How the Federal Lottery Works

The bettor purchases a pre-numbered ticket, either whole or in fractions, without choosing numbers. Each ticket contains five tens, from 01 to 100,000, and is divided into 10 fractions. The amount paid to the winner is proportional to the number of fractions purchased.

Draw Modalities

The Federal Lottery has four modalities: Quartou (Wednesdays), Sunday Draw, Enricou (monthly), and Christmas Special (annually). In case of a holiday, the date may be changed by Caixa.

How to Bet and Claim Prizes

Bets can be placed through the Loterias Online portal or the Loterias Caixa app, available for iOS and Android, 24 hours a day. Players must be over 18 years old and link their bet to their CPF (Brazilian individual taxpayer ID). Prizes up to R$ 1,700.16 can be claimed at any lottery house or Caixa branch; higher amounts must be collected at a branch. Claiming requires the CPF holder or a recognized proxy.

Probability and Payouts

Gross prizes correspond to 60% of the collection. In the Quartou and Sunday Draw modalities, over R$ 1.5 million is distributed among main and derivative prizes. The chance of winning one of the main prizes ranges from 1 in 84,000 to 1 in 96,000, and the chance of receiving any prize, including derivatives, is 1 in 4.78.
