On Thursday night, October 8, Caixa held the Quina 7138 draw at the Espaço da Sorte in São Paulo. The estimated prize was R$ 28.3 million, with prizes distributed across five tiers.

How the Quina prize structure works

The gross prize pool corresponds to 43.79% of the total collection, with 35% allocated to Quina winners (five matches). The remaining tiers receive proportional shares: 15% for the Quadra (four matches), 10% for the Terno (three matches), 10% for the Duque (two matches), and 15% is accumulated for special events such as the Quina de São João.

Draw and betting details

Contest 7138 featured six weekly draws, from Monday to Friday starting at 9 p.m. (Brasília time), and a draw on Sundays at 11 a.m. Players can register their bets at lottery outlets or through the official Loterias Caixa website.

The minimum bet costs R$ 3.00 and consists of choosing five numbers from a total of 80 available on the betting slip. It is possible to select up to 15 numbers, which increases the cost of the bet and the odds of winning. For example, the chance of winning the Quina with a five-number bet is 1 in 24,040,016.

Prize redemption and deadlines

Prizes with a net value of up to R$ 1,700.16 (gross of R$ 2,428.80) can be withdrawn at any lottery outlet or Caixa branch, as well as via transfer to Mercado Pago. For larger prizes, redemption must be done at the bank's branches upon presentation of the betting receipt and an official ID showing the CPF. Prizes expire 90 days after the draw date, after which the amounts are transferred to the National Treasury to be allocated to the Student Financing Fund (FIES).

Syndicates and group betting

Quina allows group betting through Caixa syndicates, which make it possible to select more numbers and increase the chances of winning. Each syndicate has a minimum value of R$ 15, and shares start at R$ 4, with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 50 shares. Sales of digital syndicates close 1 hour and 30 minutes before the daily draws.

Next contest and rollover

With no winners in the five-match tier in Quina 7137, the next draw has an estimated prize of R$ 28.5 million. This value is an estimate; the definitive prize pool and its distribution are announced after the draw takes place.
