Puka Nacua is questionable for the Rams' matchup against the Giants
Hip injury and groin discomfort leave the wide receiver's status uncertain for Week 2

On Monday, the Los Angeles Rams face the New York Giants for Week 2 of the season and still do not know if they will have Puka Nacua. The player, who finished the opener with five receptions and 74 yards, appeared on the injury report as "questionable."
Injury preventing practice
Puka Nacua sat out the second practice of the week due to a hip injury and did not participate in Saturday's practice, according to Friday's report. Head coach Sean McVay explained that this is not the same injury that sidelined him for several weeks before the season, but rather discomfort in the groin area.
Likelihood of playing
NFL Network sources indicate that Nacua's status is "very up in the air" and that trends point toward him missing the game. Ian Rapoport himself commented that the lack of practice in the last two sessions does not favor the athlete's availability.
Impact on the Rams' offense
With Nacua questionable, the team loses one of its most dangerous receivers when healthy. In the opener, he led the team in receiving yards, despite not scoring a touchdown.
Replacement options
If the 25-year-old is ruled out, the plan includes Davante Adams, Jordan Whittington (who is also questionable with a quad injury), Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith, CJ Daniels, and Tutu Atwell.
Expectations for the game
The Rams need to beat the Giants to confirm their status as title favorites, and without Nacua, the task could be harder. The final decision will be announced about 90 minutes before kickoff, at 8:15 p.m. (Brasília time).
