Mac Studio performance with M5 Max and M5 Ultra
The new Mac Studio comes equipped with M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips to accelerate professional workflows and artificial intelligence tasks directly on the device. The M5 Max model features an 18-core processor, a graphics card with up to 40 cores and integrated neural accelerators, and up to 128GB of unified memory. Meanwhile, the M5 Ultra version scales up to a 36-core processor, 80 graphics cores, and 512GB of unified memory, enabling the execution of large language models.
Advanced connectivity and wireless network support
The new machines bring updated connection technologies to ensure fast transfers and greater stability. Support for the Thunderbolt 5 standard allows transfer rates of up to 120Gb/s, in addition to enabling the connection of multiple systems in a cluster for distributed computing.
