A new documentary about the bombings in Gaza will receive its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival and is the only documentary in competition for the Golden Lion. The film addresses military operations in the region and features a production team with a history of international awards.

The feature film is titled Naza and was directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor. The directors were part of the team that led the previous work which won the Oscar for Best Documentary. The production features the participation of the newspaper and the presence of producers and directors associated with award-winning works in cinema.

According to the producers, the title of the film corresponds to a military acronym used by Israeli intelligence to indicate the number of civilians whose death is predicted in an airstrike. The work details systems behind the death of Palestinian civilians and is based on investigative reports published between 2023 and 2025.

The screening of the film in the official schedule is set for September 10, in a session that will be attended by the directors, producers, and journalists. The festival also includes other productions by directors making their debut in the event's main competition.
