The 2027 model now features Pirelli tires and interior adjustments
The BYD Dolphin Mini 2027 has arrived at Brazilian dealerships with changes that resolve the controversy surrounding the original Hankook 175/55 R16 tires, which were difficult to find in the replacement market. Now, the electric hatch uses Pirelli 185/55 R16 tires, offering greater interior comfort and improved handling.
Wider Tires Change the Driving Experience
Wider tires can alter the sense of comfort and handling, in addition to expanding availability in the replacement market. The change also brings a sportier look to the hatch's spoiler.
Updated Exterior Look and Finish
The BYD Dolphin Mini 2027's exterior received a newly designed spoiler, wheels with a darkened finish, and Light Grey as a new exterior color option.
Interior Receives Lighter Tone and Color Options
The interior maintains the structure of the previous line, but the seat upholstery can now feature a lighter tone, in addition to the former black with dark blue option.
Top-of-the-Line Model Already in Stores
The updates apply to both GL and GS versions, but only the GS version has arrived in stores, according to Autoesporte. The GL version costs R$ 109,990 and the GS R$ 119,990.
Powertrain and Performance Maintained
The BYD Dolphin Mini 2027 continues with a 75 hp front electric motor and 13.8 kgfm of torque, achieving 0 to 100 km/h in 14.9 seconds. The GS version has a 39 kWh battery and a range of 280 km, while the GL has a 30 kWh battery and a range of 224 km.
Fast and Slow Charging
Fast charging varies from 30 kW for the GL version to 40 kW for the GS, while slow charging with alternating current is 6.6 kW for both versions.
