The financial market has lowered its expectation for the benchmark Selic interest rate from 13.75% to 13.50% by the end of 2026. The change was disclosed in the Focus Report, published this Monday (21) by the Central Bank.

The revised projection indicates that economic agents are now working with a rate of 13.50% for the aforementioned period. This adjustment reflects updated market expectations regarding the future economic scenario.
