Mega-Sena 3062 rolls over and jackpot rises to R$ 45 million

Mega-Sena draw 3,062 rolled over after no one matched the main prize tier in the drawing held on Thursday night in São Paulo. As a result, the estimated jackpot for the next draw has risen to R$ 45 million.

Winning numbers and secondary prizes

The numbers drawn in the contest were 05, 09, 11, 17, 18, and 38. Although there were no winners for the main six-number tier, thousands of bets won secondary prizes in the five-number (quina) and four-number (quadra) tiers.

There were 86 winning bets in the five-number tier, with each receiving a prize of R$ 19,736.75. In the four-number tier, 5,065 bets won R$ 552.38 each.

How betting and odds work

To play the Mega-Sena, players must select between six and 20 numbers out of the 60 available on the playslip. The minimum bet of six numbers costs R$ 6.

The probability of winning varies according to the number of digits played. For a simple six-number bet, the chance of winning the multi-million jackpot is 1 in 50,063,860. For a bet with the maximum limit of 20 numbers, the probability is 1 in 1,292.

Rules for claiming prizes

Prizes expire 90 days after the draw date. After this period, unclaimed funds are transferred to the National Treasury to be allocated to the Student Financing Fund, known as Fies.

Net amounts of up to R$ 1,700.16 can be claimed at lottery outlets, bank branches, or via transfer through Mercado Pago. Amounts exceeding this limit must be withdrawn exclusively at Caixa branches, upon presentation of the bet slip and an official ID with CPF.
