Inflation, as measured by the National Consumer Price Index (INPC), which is used for annual wage adjustments, registered a negative change of -0.32% in August.

Over the cumulative 12-month period, the index shows an increase of 3.98%, as released.

These figures reflect consumer price behavior during the analyzed period.
