Grupo Aval opens ATMs and app to donate to Red Cross after earthquake

On August 10, 2026, after the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that shook Colombia, Grupo Aval immediately activated its transaction platforms to enable donations to the Colombian Red Cross.

Customers of Banco de Bogotá, Banco de Occidente, Banco Popular and Banco AV Villas, as well as other institutions linked to Grupo Aval, can contribute by inserting their card into the ATM, choosing the “Donations” option, selecting the Red Cross campaign and entering the desired amount. More than 2,700 ATMs spread across the national territory are enabled for this procedure.

Contribution via the dale! app

Those who prefer mobile convenience can use the digital wallet “dale!”. By accessing the highlighted campaign button within the app, the user confirms the transaction and the contribution is directed to the Red Cross Bogotá Branch. The process occurs instantly, without intermediaries.

Destination of the collected funds

All the amount raised both through the ATMs and the app will be allocated to the humanitarian response and to assist the families affected by the quake. The goal is to ensure immediate aid and resources for the reconstruction of the affected areas.
