France came from behind to beat Belgium 4-1 in a Nations League match, scoring four goals in the last 13 minutes of the game. The result maintained coach Zinedine Zidane's unbeaten start with the French national team and took the team to the top of Group A1 in the European competition.

Belgium opens the scoring

Belgium scored the first goal of the game with striker Dodi Lukébakio. The player advanced after receiving a 60-yard pass from Roméo Lavia and beat goalkeeper Guillaume Restes, who was making his debut for the French national team.

The Belgian team played without midfielders Kevin De Bruyne and Youri Tielemans. Before the match, striker Mika Godts, recently signed by Paris Saint-Germain, stated that the squad would maintain its tactical principles without fear, emphasizing that playing in the French capital did not bring additional pressure.

Reaction and comeback in the final minutes

France pressured until they equalized when Désiré Doué finished a low shot from outside the area. The shot beat Maarten Vandevoordt, who was making his debut as a starter in the Belgian goal.

The comeback occurred when Rayan Cherki completed a low pass made by substitute Michael Olise. Later, Olise scored two goals at the end of the match, both originating from assists by Désiré Doué.

Changes made by coaches

The changes made during the final stage changed the course of the match. On the French side, Zinedine Zidane brought in Rayan Cherki and Michael Olise at 60 minutes, replacing Maghnes Akliouche and captain Ousmane Dembélé, in addition to bringing in Désiré Doué at 72 minutes in place of Bradley Barcola.

In Belgium, coach Mark van Bommel took out captain Romelu Lukaku for the entry of Charles De Ketelaere and substituted Dodi Lukébakio with Mika Godts at 70 minutes. Near the final whistle, the Belgians also brought in Leandro Trossard, Mandela Keita, and Loïs Openda.

Group A1 standings in the tournament

With the score established, France took the lead in Group A1 with 10 points accumulated in four games, accumulating three wins and one draw in the table.

Belgium remained in third place in the key, with six points in four matches, totaling two wins and two losses. Italy occupies the second place with seven points, while Turkey is in fourth place with four defeats and no points gained.
