Model Lara Marina Soares Tosta, who lost her title as Miss Brazil Supranational 2026, has been hospitalized following the announcement of her dethronement. The situation has gained national attention due to conflicting accounts between the pageant organization and the model's defense regarding the reasons for her dismissal.

Reasons for losing the title according to the organization

The National Beauty Contest (CNB) reported that her removal was due to a breach of contractual obligations and rules established for all candidates. The organization stated that the model was already aware of her pregnancy before traveling internationally for the competition, held in Poland, and that this information was not officially communicated within the appropriate timeframe.

The model's version of the contract and the pregnancy

In turn, the former Miss stated that she did not find any clause in the contract signed with the organization that explicitly prohibited pregnancy during her reign. The model also claimed she signed the document before discovering she was pregnant and had sought clarification from the team regarding which obligations had supposedly been breached.

Hospitalization and health status

The model's boyfriend reported that she was admitted to a hospital and that her initial condition involved risks stemming from stress. Later, Lara's team shared that she and the baby are doing well, remaining under medical care for a safe completion of the pregnancy.

Replacement in representing the country

With Lara Marina's departure from the role, the Brazilian representative in the pageant will now be Camilly Ceccon, who finished as the runner-up in the national competition. The new representative will officially assume the title in accordance with the national franchise's procedures.
