Araguaína Public Exam Question Booklet Leaked, Prosecution Investigates

Reports that a file attributed to the Araguaína public exam question booklet circulated in WhatsApp groups before official release mobilized the Public Prosecution Office of Tocantins (MPTO). The case gained national prominence after the initial evidence was gathered.

Question Booklet Leak

According to the prosecutor's office, the material related to the Administrative Analyst position was allegedly shared around 11:39 AM on Sunday, the 23rd, on messaging applications. The document reached groups before its official release by the exam organizers.

Public Prosecution Office Action

The MPTO initiated proceedings to investigate the alleged leak and requested clarification from the Brazilian Institute for Institutional Development (IDIB) regarding the preparation, printing, transport, and distribution of the exam. Logs, download records, printing, and file sharing were also requested.

Demands to IDIB and City Hall

In addition to IDIB, Araguaína city hall was given a 10-day deadline to present the requested documents and information. To date, the municipal administration states it has not been officially notified by the MPTO but affirms that the responsible committee continues to monitor the case.

Reports of Exam Irregularities

Other issues reported to the prosecutor's office include differences in instructions regarding the use of transparent or thermal bottles, variations in the exam start time in different rooms, and possible inconsistencies in the answer sheet and access to exam venues.

Next Steps and Possible Consequences

At the end of the 10-day period, the case files will return to the 6th Public Prosecution Office of Araguaína for analysis of the responses. Depending on the conclusions, the MPTO may issue recommendations or file a public civil action. The Araguaína OAB subsection was also summoned to provide clarification.
