The surge in searches for “2027 calendar” stems from the release, this Thursday (10), of the new phase of ticket sales and the technical rehearsal schedule for Carnival 2027. The information comes from the Independent League of Samba Schools of Rio (Liesa) and was widely reported by the media.

Special grandstand tickets go on sale

Grandstand tickets, available in sectors 2 to 11, except for sector 9, will go on sale starting at 6:00 PM via the Ticketmaster platform. Each ticket is priced at R$ 250 per night, with half-price tickets set at R$ 125 for students, people with disabilities, the elderly, and low-income youth, in accordance with current legislation.

Purchase limits and half-price ticket rules

The regulations allow each buyer to purchase up to two tickets per parade day, including the Champions' Saturday. For half-price tickets, only one is authorized per CPF, ensuring the benefit is distributed equitably.

Open boxes: a premium option for groups of up to six people

The open boxes, located close to the runway, accommodate six people and range in price from R$ 1,835 to R$ 10,200, depending on their proximity to the parade. The purchase limit is one open box per CPF per parade day, and payment is made exclusively via PIX.

Sales process and ticket origin

The tickets offered in this stage come from cancellations, incomplete payments, and voids identified by Ticketmaster's anti-fraud system. After verification, the tickets return to the inventory for resale. Sales will continue until sold out, with a virtual waiting room opening at 5:30 PM, although queue positions will only be determined starting at 6:00 PM.

Free technical rehearsals calendar

In parallel with the ticket sales, Liesa released the schedule for the free technical rehearsals, which will begin on January 23 at Marquês de Sapucaí. These rehearsals allow the schools to test sound, lighting, and other Sambadrome resources before the official parades, and include performances by children's samba schools on certain dates.
