Caixa postpones draw of Dupla Sena contest 3000
The draw that was scheduled for Monday night has been rescheduled for Tuesday morning.

Caixa Econômica Federal postponed the draw of Dupla Sena contest 3000, which was originally set for the night of Monday (24) at the Espaço da Sorte in Greater São Paulo. The draw has been rescheduled for Tuesday (25) at 11 a.m., with a total prize estimated at R$ 2 million.
How Dupla Sena works
To play Dupla Sena, the bettor gets two chances to win with a single ticket, as two draws are held per contest. The player must choose between 6 and 15 numbers out of the 50 available on the play slip. Bet amounts range from R$ 3.00 to R$ 15,000. The player can also opt for "Surpresinha," where the system automatically selects the numbers, or "Teimosinha," which allows the same bet to be entered in 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9 or 12 consecutive contests. Prizes are awarded for matching 3, 4, 5 or 6 numbers in either the first or the second draw.
Prize distribution per draw
The lottery's gross prize pool corresponds to 43.79% of total revenue. In the first draw, Caixa distributes 30% of the amount to 6‑number winners, 10% to 5‑number winners, 8% to 4‑number winners and 4% to 3‑number winners. In the second draw, the distribution is 11% for 6‑number winners, 9% for 5‑number winners, 8% for 4‑number winners and 4% for 3‑number winners. If there is no winner in a prize tier, the amount rolls over to the next contest, adding to the 6‑number tier of the first draw.
Prize claim rules
Prizes can be collected at any authorized lottery house or at Caixa branches. If the gross prize exceeds R$ 2,259.20, payment must be made exclusively at bank branches, and the claimant must present the original identity document with CPF and the original winning bet receipt. Amounts equal to or above R$ 10,000 are paid within a minimum of two business days after presentation at the branch. For bets placed online via the Caixa Lottery Portal or the app, net amounts up to R$ 1,581.44 can be received at lottery houses, branches, or transferred to Mercado Pago.
Destination of unclaimed and rolled‑over amounts
The deadline to claim any Dupla Sena prize is 90 days from the draw date. If the winner does not collect the money within this period, the prize expires. After 90 days, the amounts are transferred in full to the National Treasury for use in the Higher Education Student Financing Fund (FIES).
