Out of every 100 entrepreneurs in Brazil last year, 35 were registered with the National Registry of Legal Entities (CNPJ), amounting to 10.7 million individuals in this category.
This percentage represents the highest proportion ever recorded by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) concerning the number of formalized entrepreneurs.
