Boca Juniors Faces Instituto Before Semifinal Against Vasco

Boca Juniors will play their final test this Friday (9) before the Copa Sudamericana semifinal against Vasco. The clash against Instituto, scheduled for 7:30 PM at the Mario Alberto Kempes stadium, also provides a calendar advantage for the Argentinians.

The Match Against Instituto

Boca will take the field for the 12th round of the Clausura Tournament, facing Instituto in Córdoba. The match will serve to evaluate the team's current momentum and help define the squad that will play in the semifinal.

Extra Day of Recovery for Boca

With the game against Instituto on Friday, Boca will have approximately 24 hours more rest than Vasco, who only faces Remo on Saturday (10) at 6 PM. This calendar difference could be decisive before Tuesday's (13) clash at La Bombonera.

What Vasco Can Observe

For Vasco, the encounter offers clues about who Rodolfo Arruabarrena intends to rest. The performance of Leandro Paredes, captain and set-piece specialist, and Santiago Ascacibar, who combines intensity and quality in midfield play, are points of attention.

Squad Depth and Substitutions

In the previous match against Unión, Boca used reserves who scored, such as Leonel Flores, who came on in the second half and scored twice. The squad's depth could be decisive in a 180-minute semifinal.

Impact on Vasco's Scenario

In addition to preparing for the Sudamericana, Vasco is also dealing with their situation in the Brasileirão, currently in 14th place after four consecutive victories. Coach Pedro Emanuel needs to balance the team's recovery in the national league with immediate preparation for the semifinal.
