Andreas Pereira participated in the debut of the “Sinal Verde” segment on Palmeiras TV and used the conversation to confirm his desire to remain at the club for much longer, as well as to announce his ambition to become a coach after retirement.

What is the “Sinal Verde” Segment?

The program, hosted by Paulo Bonfá, features relaxed interviews inside a Leapmotor C10 Ultra-Hybrid vehicle. In the first episode, Bonfá drove the car while conversing with Pereira, who answered questions about his career in Europe, his family, learning languages, and his connection with Palmeiras.

Andreas Pereira Reinforces Bond with Verdão

During the interview, the midfielder stated that he cannot imagine himself at another club and that he is very happy in São Paulo. "I am very happy at Palmeiras and I want to stay here much longer," he affirmed, echoing what he had already said in other statements to the club's TV.

On-Field Performance and Contribution

Since arriving at Palmeiras in September 2025, Pereira has been an important piece in the midfield. In the current season, he has played 51 games, scored four goals, and provided 12 assists, a number that places him as the top assist provider for the team managed by Abel Ferreira. His contract runs until the end of 2028.

Plans for a Coaching Career

Speaking about the future, Pereira revealed that he intends to remain involved with football after hanging up his boots. "Afterward, I would really like to be a coach. I love football… I think when I stop playing, I'll have to talk to my wife. If I stay at home, I'll go crazy," he said, laughing.

Partnership Between Palmeiras and Leapmotor

The segment also highlights the partnership between the club and Leapmotor, a manufacturer of electrified vehicles from the Stellantis Group. The company has had its brand on the back of the professional and youth team uniforms since April of this year. In the episode, the C10 Ultra-Hybrid model was used as the setting, emphasizing REEV technology, which allows switching between electric charging and combustion refueling.
