Reports indicate that Amazon considered Sean McVay, head coach of the Los Angeles Rams, as one of the top names to join the Thursday Night Football broadcast team. In 2022, following his Super Bowl victory, rumors emerged that McVay could receive a contract exceeding $15 million per year to transition to TV.

Financial offer for McVay

According to the same report, Amazon had reportedly prepared an offer of up to $100 million over five years if McVay accepted the invitation. The amount exceeds the annual salary he received as coach, estimated at $15 million.
